The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine said that during the period of restoration of the registers of the Ministry of Justice, notaries continue to provide services that do not require verification of data in these registers. In particular, the following notarial actions are currently available:
- certification of wills, inheritance agreements and powers of attorney;
- issuance of duplicates of notarial documents stored in the notary's files;
- certification of the correctness of copies (photocopies) of documents and extracts from them;
- certification of the authenticity of the signature on documents, including certification of the authenticity of the signature on the consent for the child to travel abroad without the accompaniment of one of the parents;
- certification of the correctness of the translation of documents from one language to another.
In addition, the possibility of a notary opening an inheritance case upon the request of the heir has been provided.
After the resumption of the registers, notaries will enter the necessary information into the relevant registers.
