Zarozhnensky Starostynsky District of Chuguiv City Council formed in accordance with the decision of the XI session of the Chuguiv City Council of the VIII convocation No. 458-УІІІ dated 11/18/2021.
The Zarozhne starostyn district includes the villages of Zarozhne and Tetleha, with the village of Zarozhne as its center.
As of January 1, 2025, 728 residents live in the Zarozhne Starostynsky District (in the village of Zarozhne - 598 people, in the village of Tetleha - 130 people) and 270 internally displaced persons are registered.
On the territory of the village of Zarozhne there are: a village headman's office, a lyceum, a paramedic and obstetrician's station, 2 mixed-trade stores, PSP "Zarozhnianske", LLC AF "Zarozhne".

The headman – BYCHKOVA Olga Semenivna, represents the interests of the residents of the village of Zarozhne and the village of Tetleha, exercises powers defined by the legislation of Ukraine. The headman helps people in completing documents for local government bodies, promotes self-organization of the population, voices priority areas for the development of the territory, identifies its problems, exercises control over the improvement, receives information and materials from the authorities and officials to exercise their powers.
The list of powers of the village head is prescribed:
1. In the Law of Ukraine "On Local Self-Government in Ukraine", Article 54-1. Starosta.
2. In the Regulations on the Head of the Chuhuyiv City Territorial Community, approved by the decision of the XI session of the Chuhuyiv City Council of the VIII convocation on November 18, 2021.
3. In the Job Description of the Headman, approved by the Chuguiv City Mayor on December 17, 2020.
