A modern security class will appear in the Chuguiv community

The Chuguiv community received this opportunity thanks to its participation in the "Pathway to Protection and Sustainable Solutions" project, which is implemented by the International Organization for Migration with the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The community has been participating in the project since 2025. During this time, a number of meetings of the initiative group have been held with the participation of community residents, representatives of municipal enterprises, the police, and the State Emergency Service, during which priority issues that need to be addressed and aimed at strengthening resilience and security were identified.
Among the proposed initiatives, it was the idea of creating a security class that received the support of the International Organization for Migration and was selected for implementation.
On March 23, 2026, another dialogue meeting was held within the framework of the project, during which representatives of the Chuguiv City Council, community educational institutions, and the parent community, together with active residents, discussed the importance of creating such a space.
The security classroom will be opened in a sheltered area of one of the community's educational institutions. The space will be equipped with modern computer equipment, furniture, and specialized materials for interactive classes.
The curriculum will cover the most relevant topics of today, including: mine safety, fire safety, first aid, traffic rules, and maintaining psycho-emotional health.
The creation of such a class will not only increase the level of awareness of children, but also form practical skills that can save lives in critical situations. It is especially important that students from all educational institutions in the community will have access to the classes - a separate attendance schedule will be developed for this.
It is expected that 625 thousand hryvnias of extra-budgetary funds will be raised for the opening of such a space. The first visitors will be able to use the space in August of this year.
