
Born on March 24, 1978 in the city of Chuguiv, Kharkiv region. From 1985 to 1993, he studied at Chuguiv secondary school No. 5. After the eighth grade, he began his career - he became an apprentice turner at the Chuguiv Fuel Equipment Plant. There he received a profession and continued to work at the enterprise as a qualified specialist. In October 2014, he moved to work as a turner at the Chuguiv Dairy Plant, where he conscientiously performed his duties.

On January 13, 2026, Oleksiy was mobilized by the Chuguiv District Territorial Center for Recruiting and Social Support. He was sent to the 425th Separate Assault Regiment "Skelya" to the position of driver-electrician of the 3rd detachment of strike unmanned aviation complexes of the UAV company of the 1st assault battalion.
Circumstances of death:
Alexey's service did not last long. From the first days after mobilization, he found himself in the very hell of war. In January and early February 2026, the regiment continued to perform combat missions in the hottest areas of the front, in particular in the Pokrovsky direction.

In early February, for reasons unknown to his family, Oleksiy was admitted to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Hospital named after I.I. Mechnikov in Dnipro in serious condition. While in the hospital, he died of a lung abscess (as stated in the death certificate). On February 11, 2026, his brother, who lives in the city of Pogrebyshche, Vinnytsia region, received the tragic news that his brother Oleksiy Shkryabin, while serving in the military and as of February 11, 2026, being in the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Hospital named after I.I. Mechnikov in Dnipro, died.

On February 23, 2026, Oleksiy Shkryabin was buried at the cemetery in the city of Pogrebyshche with full honors under the volleys of the guard of honor and the National Anthem of Ukraine. The farewell ceremony for our countryman was attended by relatives and friends, representatives of the clergy, representatives of the city council, fellow citizens, residents of the Pogrebyshche territorial community, who came to share the grief and support the soldier's relatives.
