Since 2024, the Chuhuyiv urban territorial community has been actively participating in the implementation of the state program "RenewDIM", which is implemented by the State Institution "Energy Efficiency Fund".
The program aims to support the restoration of apartment buildings damaged by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation by providing grant funding to associations of apartment building owners (OSBB). Thanks to this support, OSBBs are able to carry out priority repair and restoration work necessary to ensure safe and adequate living conditions for residents.
30 condominium associations, covering 40 apartment buildings in the Chuhuiv community, have already participated in the program.
In total, the estimated amount of grant funding for the implementation of these projects is over UAH 95.934 million. Of this amount, part of the funds has already been allocated to the implementation of completed and ongoing projects, and the rest will be financed after the approval of the relevant applications by the Energy Efficiency Fund.
As of today, renovation work in 22 apartment buildings has been fully completed. The total cost of the work, according to available information, is UAH 56.468 million.
As part of the project implementation, a set of priority repair measures was carried out, in particular:
- replacement of windows and window units in public areas;
- replacement of entrance doors;
- current roof repairs;
- sealing of interpanel seams of external walls;
- other work necessary to restore the operational suitability of buildings after damage caused by hostilities.
Currently, renovation and restoration work is underway in 13 more apartment buildings. Once completed, hundreds more community residents will be able to live in safer and more comfortable conditions.
In addition, 5 applications from condominium associations are under consideration by the State Institution "Energy Efficiency Fund". After their approval, the associations will receive grant funds to implement the planned restoration measures.
The participation of the Chuhuiv Community Housing Association in the "VidnovyDIM" program is an important step in the restoration of the housing stock damaged as a result of the war. The implementation of projects allows not only to eliminate the consequences of destruction, but also to improve the operational condition of buildings, increase their energy efficiency, and create proper living conditions for residents.
