On July 16, the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, held an important working meeting with a representative of the charitable organization "Medics OPIKA".
During the constructive conversation, the possibilities of providing palliative care to residents of the Chuguiv urban territorial community were discussed. The representative of the organization spoke in detail about the services that Medics OPIKA is ready to provide to residents in need of palliative care.
Such assistance is extremely relevant for our community: there are 6 palliative wards registered with the Territorial Center for Social Services, 7 children are registered with the Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Children with Disabilities "SHANS", and a palliative department with 30 beds operates in the KNP "Chuguyiv Central Hospital named after M.I. Kononenko".
Among the key services offered by the organization are: regular doctor visits; symptom correction and pain relief; delivery of specialized specialists directly to the patient; collection of tests at home; provision of specialized medical mattresses and pillows, and others.
It is important that all assistance will be provided in close cooperation with family doctors in the community, which will ensure comprehensive and high-quality patient support.
The Chuguiv community is grateful to "Medics CARE" for their concern and willingness to support our residents in the most difficult periods of life. Such initiatives help make medical care more accessible and humane.
