
Born on January 14, 1976 in the village of Melekhi, Chornukhinsky (now Lubensky) district, Poltava region. In 1992, he received secondary education, and then continued his studies at Vocational School No. 46, village of Lazirky, Orzhytsky district, Poltava region. He had a specialty as a driver. After graduating, he worked as a driver at the Gorky collective agricultural enterprise of the Melekhiv village council.
In November 1995, he was called up for military service. He began his military service at the 69th training center for automobile service specialists. Later, he served in the security battalion of the Odessa Military District headquarters in the city of Odesa as a driver, and later as a detachment commander. After returning to civilian life, he worked in the village council.







In August 2014, he was called up for mobilization by the Lokhvytsky-Chernukhinsky ORVK. Since then, he has been serving as a conscript for mobilization, and in January 2016, Andriy signed a military contract and continued his military service under the contract as part of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade and lived in the city of Chuguiv. He held the positions of refueling truck driver, senior refueling truck driver, and in 2018 was appointed to the position of department commander. Participant of the ATO/JFO. He performed combat missions several times in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Already in 2014, while participating in hostilities near the settlement of Ilovaisk, he received a serious injury - an explosive injury, a closed craniocerebral injury and a concussion. After prolonged treatment at the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Northern Region, he returned to the unit.

Andriy Ivanovich faced a full-scale war together with his comrades in the brigade, which waged fierce defensive and offensive battles in the Kharkiv region, holding the Chuguiv direction and the outskirts of the city of Kharkiv.
Circumstances of death:


In 2024, Andriy Ivanovich, under the influence of previous damaging factors (during combat missions, he suffered several contusions and a serious head wound in 2014 near the settlement of Ilovaisk), began to show severe symptoms of heart disease, head injury, and moderate type 2 diabetes. He was forced to be treated as an inpatient in hospitals in the city of Kharkiv, the city of Khmelnytskyi, and the city of Lubny. But the disease progressed every day. Despite the assistance provided, he continued to be seriously ill. Doctors constantly noted his fatigue and exhaustion of mental functions. On 05/27/2026, at the age of 50 (of which he defended Ukraine for more than ten years), he died of the disease "Atherosclerotic heart disease.".
Andriy Ivanovich Okhrimenko was buried on May 29, 2026 at the cemetery in his native village of Melekhi, Lubny district, Poltava region.
He is survived by his wife, children and brothers.


During his military service, Andriy Okhrimenko was repeatedly awarded medals and diplomas. He was awarded state awards: the Order of the President of Ukraine "For Participation in the ATO", the medal "Defender of the Fatherland"; he had a breastplate from the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Participant in the ATO"; Non-state volunteer awards and commemorative non-state awards of the brigade: "Ilovaisk-2014", commemorative medals: "For the Defense of Happiness" and "Valor and Courage"; breastplate of the Poltava Regional Council; commemorative award "For Loyalty to the People of Ukraine" and Honorary breastplate of the commander of the 92nd Motorized Rifle Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko.
