During the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Kharkiv OVA and the Free State of Saxony. The document provides for assistance in the restoration of facilities damaged as a result of hostilities, support for healthcare institutions, joint development of culture, assistance to the civilian population, etc.
«"Saxony has been helping the Kharkiv region since the first months of Russian armed aggression. To meet the needs of the affected and deoccupied communities, our partners provided high-power generators, buses to ensure transportation, and humanitarian aid. The conclusion of a memorandum of cooperation is the next step in strengthening our relations," said Yevhen Ivanov.
Further work will be carried out on the basis of the Regional Office for International Cooperation. Priority areas of work will be determined at a joint forum.
