As a result of a large-scale missile attack on the country's energy infrastructure on March 22, the Russian occupiers struck 12 regions of Ukraine. The enemy fired 22 missiles of various types at the Kharkiv region. Currently, all relevant services are involved in restoration work, clearing debris, and restoring energy supply to the civilian population.

«"The goal of this attack was to cause a complete blackout. Currently, all relevant services are working 27/7, dismantling the rubble to have access to all damaged equipment and networks. The good news is that the all-Ukrainian system is stable and intact. Thanks to this, electricity can be supplied from neighboring regions," said Herman Galushchenko.

In the Kharkiv region, stabilization and emergency power outage schedules are currently in effect in 17 settlements in the Bogodukhov, Chuhuyiv, Kharkiv districts and the regional center. They will be adjusted according to the network load and the progress of restoring damaged critical infrastructure facilities.

«"We can now supply electricity to all Kharkiv subscribers at night. We continue to work on accurate schedules. Currently, we have the corresponding schedules of 6x6. We want to get approximately 4x4 or 4x2. That is, there is electricity for 4 hours, and there is no electricity for 2 or 4 hours, until the damage is repaired," said Oleg Synegubov.

International partners are ready to join the restoration of damaged energy infrastructure. Part of the funds for restoration will be transferred from the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine.

«"We have 40 million euros available, which will be spent on purchasing equipment and restoring networks after we clearly identify the need. In addition, some of our partners will transfer building materials and equipment," the Minister of Energy of Ukraine added.

At the same time, work continues in Kharkiv to restore ground electric transport.

«"We managed to launch the metro on the 3rd day after the enemy attack. Later, the trains. We are currently working on launching individual routes of ground electric transport," said Oleg Synegubov.

The head of the Kharkiv OVA also reported that the upcoming heating season in the region is planned to start as planned.

«"We have enough difficult challenges, but we are currently doing everything possible to restore damaged critical infrastructure. We are making every effort to ensure that the upcoming heating season starts on time and that all residents of the region have warm homes," said Oleg Synegubov.
