KIREEV Andriy Nikolaevich (call sign Kifa)

Born on 01.10.2000 in the city of Chuguyiv in the family of a military man. In 2016 he graduated from Klugino-Bashkirivsk comprehensive school. Classmates characterized Andriy as a person with a big heart, a pure soul, lively and sincere. He was a regular participant in school events, the Club of the Cheerful and Resourceful, and repeatedly received encouraging letters of "King of the Dance Floor".

After graduating from school, he continued his studies at the Chuguyiv Agrarian Lyceum, where he received the profession "Tractor driver. Single-bucket excavator driver. Bulldozer driver (construction work). Driver of motor vehicles." Lyceum teachers remember Andriy as a persistent, purposeful and at the same time cheerful, kind and talented guy. He left bright and kind memories in the hearts of everyone who knew him!

He connected his work with the construction industry, becoming a professional dealer of the Chuguiv company "MAESTRO", which is engaged in high-quality installation of stretch ceilings.

On September 11, 2025, he voluntarily went to defend the Motherland through the 4th Recruiting Center of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a rifleman in the 2nd rifle division of the 2nd rifle platoon of the 1st rifle company of the 1st rifle battalion of the 108th separate Kodak Territorial Defense Brigade.

Since May 2022, the brigade has been on the defensive in the Donetsk direction. In the spring of 2025, the enemy became significantly more active in the Zaporizhia direction. Active offensive operations began here, and therefore, after a short recovery, the brigade has occupied the zone of responsibility in the Zaporizhia direction since May 2025, where it is fighting with the Russian occupiers in the Hulyaipil direction. Ukrainian defenders are courageously restraining the assault actions of the Russian occupation forces, preventing them from advancing, neutralizing their equipment and personnel.

Circumstances of death:

On 12/20/2025, Andriy Kireev, as part of a unit, was in combat positions near the settlement of Bilogirya, Polohivskyi district, Zaporizhia region. As is known from the Operational Information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on that day in the Hulyaipil direction the aggressor tried to advance on the positions of our troops 11 times and carried out air strikes with guided bombs on settlements of the region. The combat positions of our defenders also fell under enemy attacks. During one of such attacks, Andriy received combat injuries incompatible with life.

«"He was a very beautiful and truly multifaceted person. They say about such people, "The Flower of the Nation." It is impossible to believe that he is no more, just as it is impossible to express the pain that has fallen on the soul and tears the heart," - recalls Andriy's former teacher.

«He always helped everyone. Both his family and anyone else. He was cheerful and open. Brave, because he went to protect his family. His children loved him, and he loved them. His nephews and daughter. He was the best. He was the soul of any company, had a wonderful sense of humor. He easily acquired any skills. One of them was playing the bass guitar. He knew how to fix everything, he always helped his dad with any repairs and construction,» his family and close family friends remember Andriy.

Andrey Kireev was buried on December 31, 2025 in the city of Chuguev on the Alley of Memory.

Andriy is survived by his father, mother, older brother, wife, little daughter, grandparents.

On 02.06.2026, the Chuguyiv community presented the state award - the Order "For Courage" of the III degree (posthumously). The award, with which the President of Ukraine posthumously awarded the courage and heroism of soldier Kireev Andriy Nikolayevich, was presented to the defender's family: his wife, little daughter and mother during a solemn ceremony. This award is a recognition of the courage of Andriy, who until his last breath performed combat missions, defending Ukraine.
