The head of the Chuguiv City Military Administration, Galina Minaeva, held a meaningful and constructive meeting with representatives of the international humanitarian organization Action Against Hunger, which has been taking decisive measures against the causes and consequences of hunger in different parts of the world for many decades.
It has been working in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. Currently, the most relevant area of Action Against Hunger's work in front-line regions is supporting primary health care facilities, given the increased burden on them due to the influx of refugees.
The Chuhuiv community also needs such help, as it has become a temporary home for hundreds of families of our neighbors, in whose native settlements hostilities are currently ongoing.
– My colleagues and I presented to our partners the needs that the community has today, both in the medical field and in some other, also vital, areas., – said Galina Minaeva. – We hope for serious help, because Action Against Hunger is part of a powerful consortium, whose six organizations cover a wide field of humanitarian activity.
