Dear residents of the Chuhuyiv community!
August 29 marks the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine, who died in the struggle for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. We remember and honor the fallen Heroes not only on this day. But today is a special time when the entire country unites in common memory, honor and gratitude.
Our Heroes stood up to defend their native state, its sovereignty and territorial integrity, sacrificing the most precious thing - their own lives. Their courage, bravery and loyalty to Ukraine are forever etched in our history.
Today, our community, like the entire country, continues to fight against the Russian aggressor. We are strong thanks to unity, mutual support, and the example of those who gave their lives for peace and the future of future generations. Our duty is to preserve the memory of the Heroes, support their families, and do everything possible to ensure that Ukraine wins.
Let us bow our heads in a moment of silence, remember everyone who is no longer with us, and promise ourselves and each other: their sacrifice was not in vain. Ukraine will be free and independent!
