These days, information is spreading online that the alleged «military police» are offering Ukrainian citizens a reward for cooperation in identifying «evaders.» Such messages are coming from the alleged National Police of Ukraine.

The Cyber Police and the Center for Countering Disinformation emphasize that this information is not true. The National Police of Ukraine has not made any such notifications. We also remind you that there is no "military police" in Ukraine.

Such messages are an element of the Russian information and psychological operation (IPSO) and are aimed at destabilizing the situation in the country and creating tension among citizens.

We urge you not to call the numbers listed in these messages and not to click on links from unknown sources. At the same time, to give weight to their IPsO, the enemy may use real phone numbers of government agencies.

Therefore, the cyber police reminds us of the importance of verifying the authenticity of facts, information, and statements that are disseminated through various communication channels. We also recommend obtaining information from official sources. Be vigilant and cautious!
