Unconscious consumption of information and an insufficient level of information literacy have led to the prevalence of hostile propaganda and fakes on the Internet.
In order to cleanse the media space of Russian propaganda, destroy pockets of illegal content, and increase the media literacy of Ukrainians, the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, together with volunteers, created the project "«BRAMA – online guardian of Ukraine».
The uniqueness of the project is the presence of a database of enemy resources, the ability to identify propaganda centers and block them.
By joining to the BRAMA project , everyone will be able to help protect the information space of Ukraine.
How does the BRAMA channel work?
To block a particular source, you need to send complaints via a bot. The more complaints there are, the greater the likelihood that the source will be blocked. That is why the Cyber Police want Ukrainians to continue joining the social project "Brama" (BRAMA).
What BRAMA channel members can do:
– First, Ukrainians can report the source of unacceptable content for further mass community reporting and blocking of such a source.
– Secondly, to help block the source of unacceptable content through mass complaints.
– Thirdly, Ukrainians can receive advice on media and cyber literacy.
Also, BRAMA community members will be informed about dangerous online fraud schemes and will better understand the fakes that enemies promote in our media space.
