The residents of Chuguiv have not even had time to enjoy spring, and the city authorities are already thinking about how best to prepare the community for the next winter. This was discussed at a meeting of the city headquarters on preparing infrastructure for the heating season, which was held on April 21, 2025, chaired by the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, and with the participation of heads of municipal enterprises.
Last winter, which was generally considered the most difficult in the history of independent Ukraine, the Chuhuiv community survived with dignity: despite constant enemy shelling, a crisis of non-payment for utility services, the discrepancy between tariffs and the real cost of services, and many other problems, the housing and communal services infrastructure worked stably, and residents' homes were warm and cozy. But the staff meeting did not talk about successes and achievements. The focus, as always, was on problematic and promising moments.
– Issues of security, energy autonomy, financial efficiency, attracting external funds for infrastructure development – these are the priorities dictated to us today by life in the frontline zone of a warring state, – Galina Minaeva tells. – I am very grateful to the leaders and teams of our municipal enterprises for understanding these priorities and their dedicated work in wartime conditions. We clearly know what resources we have, what we need, and where to get these necessary resources.
Summing up the staff meeting, Halyna Minaeva expressed confidence that the Chuguiv community will meet the next winter fully armed. The guarantee of this is the experience and professionalism of the teams, on which the successful passage of the upcoming heating season depends.
