A business program with a grant fund of €480,000 has been launched in Ukraine

The international cooperation program "EU4Business: Recovery, Competitiveness and Internationalization of SMEs" offers 12 grants of EUR 40,000 each. It is funded by the European Union and the German government and implemented by the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in cooperation with the Public Association "Global Compact Network in Ukraine".

The goal of the program is to support the economic stability, recovery and growth of Ukraine, create favorable conditions for the development of Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as support innovation and exports.

EU4Business is a European Union initiative that helps small and medium-sized enterprises in the Eastern Partnership countries.

Who can participate in the project?

Small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the following sectors:

  • processing industry (food, light industry, mechanical engineering, construction, furniture manufacturing, etc.);
  • creative industries (fashion, design, etc.);
  • other industries not mentioned above with export and innovation potential.

Priority will be given to enterprises that adhere to the principles of circular economy, green economy, environmentally friendly production, energy efficiency, and renewable energy.

You can apply until June 25, 2024.

Businesses related to the production of weapons, military ammunition, dual-use products, petroleum products, alcoholic beverages, mainly fermented, beer and wine, as well as the production of distilled alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, pharmaceutical products, gambling, agriculture (farms), and the IT sector cannot participate in the project.
