The Cabinet of Ministers has prepared state programs that farmers can receive to develop their farms, Acting Minister of Agricultural Policy Taras Vysotsky said.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food noted the farmers' dedication to their cause even during the war. Vysotsky noted that Ukrainian farmers, despite all the difficulties they have experienced over the years, continue to work actively and develop rural areas and the agricultural sector as a whole.
The official recalled that farmers can take advantage of a number of government programs to support and develop their farms:
- small farmers who cultivate up to 120 hectares in the deoccupied territories will be able to receive UAH 8,000 in non-refundable assistance per hectare, and UAH 4,000 in the controlled territory;
- Farmers who keep from 3 to 100 cows can receive 7 thousand UAH per head and 2 thousand UAH for those who raise from 5 to 500 heads of goats and sheep;
- grants for the development of gardens and greenhouses – up to UAH 7 million or UAH 10 million, respectively;
- entrepreneurs who cultivate up to 500 hectares can receive a loan guarantee through the Partial Loan Guarantee Fund in Agriculture;
- compensation up to 50% for the cost of restoration and construction of reclamation systems;
- compensation for the cost of domestic agricultural machinery – up to 25%;
- compensation up to 80% for the cost of demining work.
Applications for these aids are submitted through the State Agrarian Register.

In addition, farmers actively develop horticulture, vegetable growing, and animal husbandry," Vysotsky emphasized.
