An important mine safety training session was held for the institution's employees at the Territorial Center for Social Services (provision of social services) of the Chuguiv City Council.
The event was conducted by specialists from the international humanitarian organization The HALO Trust, who have significant experience in mine action and work in areas affected by hostilities.
During the session, participants received up-to-date information on:
- types of explosive objects;
- main signs of dangerous areas;
- rules of safe behavior in case of detection of suspicious objects;
- algorithm of actions in emergency situations.
Particular attention was paid to practical aspects that social workers may encounter in the performance of their duties, in particular when visiting clients in remote communities.
Experts from The HALO Trust emphasized the need for strict adherence to personal safety rules, attentiveness, and caution, as mine danger remains a relevant threat in today's conditions.
