As noted by the head of the Kharkiv Housing and Urban Development Department, Oleg Synegubov, the total cost of the purchased housing is 539 million hryvnias, of which more than 529 million hryvnias were paid for with housing certificates.
«"Recipients of compensation purchased more than 30 residential properties in other regions: most of them in Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Poltava regions. At the same time, 18 thousand people received 1.65 billion hryvnia in compensation for housing repairs within the framework of the state program," said Oleg Synegubov.
The occupiers destroyed the house of Andriy and Iryna Hrytsenko on September 17, 2022. Then their 11-year-old daughter Anastasia was also killed in a missile strike.
Andriy Gritsenko said that at the time the house was hit, he and his wife were purchasing and delivering groceries for people, as there were still supply problems in the city.
«"Usually, Iryna would deliver aid herself, but that time I went with her to help load everything into the car. Then I was already walking back from the market when the shelling started. I immediately called my daughter to hide, but the connection was lost. It turned out that a strong explosion threw my daughter onto the roof of a neighboring house, from which she fell again. The rocket hit the foundation directly, eyewitnesses said that the house flew off the ground and exploded in the air. Nastyusha died in the hospital from internal bleeding," Andriy Gritsenko shared.
After the tragedy, Andriy and Iryna moved to Kharkiv to live with his mother. Later, they found an apartment not far from her house, which they purchased thanks to the "eVidnovlenie" housing certificate.
«"We are probably among the top five who first purchased new housing in Kharkiv. Because when we came to the real estate agency, after our successful deal, we also consulted them to work with other participants. I have heard that some people are afraid to conclude deals within the program, but I want to assure you that everything works. Our state guarantees the money and pays it," added the participant of the "eVidnovlenie" program.
Currently, the couple is planning to renovate the apartment, as they need to furnish all the rooms.
«"After all the trials, great happiness has come to our family: we are expecting a baby. When the ultrasound said it would be a girl, we both cried with joy," said Andriy Gritsenko.
