Despite the proximity of the front and constant danger, agricultural workers of the Chuhuiv community work tirelessly on the land, ensuring the food security of the region. Farmers will celebrate their professional holiday - Agricultural Workers' Day - on Sunday, November 16.
Given the security situation, the celebrations took place in one of the city's shelters, where agricultural producers gathered on the eve of the professional holiday.
Deputy Mayor Igor Kashchavtsev addressed the audience with warm words of greeting. He emphasized the extraordinary importance of the work of farmers, especially in wartime, when every ear of corn, every piece of cultivated land, and the care of livestock is a contribution to victory.
The village elders of the Chuhuiv community, Olga Mykhaylova and Olga Bychkova, also expressed their congratulations and gratitude, emphasizing the indomitable spirit and extraordinary hard work of their fellow farmers, who, despite all the difficulties, continue to care for the well-being of the community.
On the occasion of the holiday, the industry workers received the Mayor's Gratitude. The festive atmosphere was supported by a small concert - local artists and creative groups prepared a festive program for the farmers. Music and creativity, as always, helped to distract from worries and reminded us of the beauty of the peaceful life to which we aspire.
Agricultural workers are the ones who feed us and make a significant contribution to the community's economy. And on this holiday, the community expresses its support, gratitude, and respect to them.
