On November 13, Chuguiv paid tribute and laid to rest a resident of the city who fell in the war, soldier Oleg Petrosyants. The life of another of our soldiers, who courageously defended the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, was tragically cut short.
Oleg served as a machine gunner in an assault battalion of one of the military units. He was drafted into military service on January 7, 2025. He died on October 31, 2025 in Sumy region while performing a combat mission - as a result of a hit by an FPV drone, he received injuries incompatible with life.
Oleg Petrosyants was buried with full military honors in Chuguiv on the Alley of Memory.
