Schoolchildren learned what cyberbullying is, how to protect themselves from online fraud, and basic rules for using the Internet.
On February 7, at the UNICEF Digital Education Center, Svitlana Zhuga, Senior Inspector of Juvenile Prevention of the Chuguiv District Police Department, held an interactive cybersecurity lesson for students of Lyceum No. 7.
During the meeting, the policewoman told the schoolchildren about cyberbullying, the dangers of communicating with strangers on social networks, prohibited content and malicious programs. She explained the risks that young people may face in the information space and provided advice on how to avoid them. She also told them what to do if teenagers become victims or witnesses of violence.
Law enforcement officers in the Chuguiv region are urging young people not to remain silent about cases of violence and bullying and to immediately seek help from juvenile police officers.
