A large-scale medical project with the support of international partners is launched in the Chuhuiv community

Chuguiv is preparing to launch an important socio-medical project aimed at improving the health of residents and strengthening the material and technical base of the Chuguiv City Center for Primary Health Care.

This was announced by the head of the Chuguiv City Military Administration, Galina Minaeva, after a working meeting with representatives of the international charitable organization Premiere Urgence Internationale, which will implement the initiative in the community.

The key focus of the project will be to provide vulnerable groups with free medicines and hygiene products. The assistance will be provided in the form of electronic vouchers. These are drugs that are not included in the state program "Affordable Medicines".

In addition, the Center's medical staff will receive modern equipment and undergo appropriate training. International partners will also identify a pharmacy network for cooperation. The initiative, which is part of a project by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) funded by the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine, is expected to start in May.

Chuguiv City Council will additionally inform residents about the mechanisms for receiving assistance in a convenient way.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed other areas of cooperation, including:

  • organizing transportation of residents with limited mobility and those in need to medical facilities;
  • providing the Center with fuel and charging stations;
  • providing psychological support to medical workers.

Representatives of the international organization highly appreciated the reputation of the Chuguiv community and expressed confidence in the successful implementation of the project. The head of the Chuguiv MVA, Galina Minaeva, also shares this optimism, emphasizing that the result of joint work should be an improvement in the health of community residents.
