The Chuhuyiv community celebrated the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II

A solemn event on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II was held on the evening of May 8 at the Memorial to the Fallen Soldiers in Glory Square. For security reasons, it was decided to hold it in a small crowd.

The organizers lit lamps, symbolizing the eternal memory of the Ukrainian people about the immortal feat of our defenders in World War II. The leaders of the Chuguiv City Military Administration and the City Council laid flowers at the Memorial and honored the fallen soldiers with a minute of silence.

Організатори запалили лампадки, які символізували незгасну пам'ять українського народу про безсмертний подвиг наших захисників у Другій світовій війні. Керівники Чугуївської міської військової адміністрації та міської ради поклали квіти до Меморіалу та вшанували загиблих воїнів хвилиною мовчання.

Also on May 8, rural settlements of the Chuguiv community honored the memory of fellow countrymen who gave their lives defending their native land from the Nazis during World War II.
