March 9, 2024 marks the 210th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko (1814-1861). Every nation has great poets and writers, known to both adults and children. For the Ukrainian people, such a poet is Taras Shevchenko.
T. Shevchenko dedicated his entire life, all his powerful talent to the Ukrainian people: to his contemporaries and to us, his descendants. Let us be grateful to him and read Shevchenko's works, study them, and honor what the Great Kobzar left us as a legacy.
