The Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II was celebrated movingly and warmly at the city's Territorial Center for Social Services.
Here, on the eve of the holiday, a traditional concert was held, the numbers for which were prepared by recipients of social adaptation services, who are also students of the University of the Third Age at the Tercenter.
It should be noted that while for most of us World War II is more of a history, for some of the spectators invited to the concert it is a tragic part of life: 11 of those present in the hall have the status of a child of war.
However, the concert numbers themselves were full of optimism, enthusiasm, and humor.
Ukrainian folk and pop songs, poems, and even sparkling humor sounded from the stage, which were warmly received in the audience.
Congratulating fellow countrymen of respectable age on the Victory over Nazism holiday, Deputy Mayor - Head of the Executive Committee Lyudmila Makarenko wished them long years of life and peace, and also thanked them for their worthy lives, which today are an example for young people.
