On the Social Web Portal of Electronic Services of the Ministry of Social Policy social.gov.ua it will be possible to apply for a rehabilitation aid (RA). The relevant decision approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine today, December 31.
«"The ePotential reform is our response to the demands of the time and the need to improve the social insurance system. We focus on supporting those who need it, and digitalization will simplify and automate key processes. Therefore, we are expanding services on the Social Portal of the Ministry of Social Policy," said Oksana Zholnovych, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Social Policy is simplifying the mechanism for submitting an application for provision of rehabilitation means - this will be possible in your personal account on the Social Portal of the Ministry of Social Policy.
As you know, on January 1, 2025, expert teams for assessing the daily functioning of a person will start working, replacing the outdated MSEC system. Information about the assessment results will be transmitted to the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere (UISS). Therefore, after logging in to the portal, information from the expert team's decision will automatically be displayed in your personal account, which will allow citizens to quickly and conveniently submit an application for their need for rehabilitation measures based on the conclusion.
How it will work:
- Log in to your personal account on the Social Portal of the Ministry of Social Policy using your KEP, UEP or BankID.
- Select "Application for provision of a rehabilitation aid", then click "Submit application"«
- Fill out the application form and the data will be automatically updated. You can also update your information in your personal account by clicking "Information about me.".
- Sign the application with an electronic signature.
- Check the status of your application on the portal in the "My Applications" section.
After the Fund for Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities (FSZOI) processes the application, an e-referral for the provision of social security will appear in your personal account.
If such an application was submitted previously, you will also be able to view its status on the portal.
Important: the opportunity to submit an application for compensation for independently purchased SDR is not yet available on the portal. You can do this online via Electronic account of a person with a disability (CBI).
The changes approved by the Government also provide that written applications will be considered faster on the spot. In particular, employees of social protection bodies and administrative service centers will have access to the EIISS, and therefore the processing of such an application will take less time. In addition, it will not be necessary to transfer papers to the territorial branch of the Federal Social Insurance Fund, as before.
