
Born on October 2, 1977 in the city of Chuguiv. During 1984-1992 he studied in the city of Chuguiv at secondary school No. 7. In 1994 he graduated from Chuguiv vocational school No. 19 with a degree in gas welder.
He served his military service from 1995 to 1997 in a unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, which was stationed in the city of Balaklava (Crimea).



After his discharge from the service, he worked in his specialty in the city of Chuguiv, and then abroad. Before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, he worked in Poland. With the beginning of Russian aggression, he returned to Ukraine and voluntarily applied to the Zhytomyr OTCK and SP. Immediately after applying, he was sent to the 132nd separate reconnaissance battalion to the position of scout (sniper) of the 1st reconnaissance company.

This poem was submitted to the Book of Remembrance by the Hero's mother, Lidiya Andreyevna. It is dear and memorable to her, because Dmytro sent it to her immediately after he volunteered to defend Ukraine.
