The police received a report from social service workers that a local resident was illegally receiving social benefits.
Law enforcement officers found out that a 51-year-old woman submitted false information to a state institution, stating that she and her daughter had arrived from the city of Chuguev and were currently living in the Malynivka territorial community. That is, she is considered an internally displaced person and needs to receive funds from the state.
The figurehead indicated a false address in official documents, on the basis of which she received money from the state for herself and her daughter for 15 months, defrauding the state of almost 80 thousand hryvnias.
On May 22, the woman was notified of suspicion under Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 190 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
