Due to hostile attacks, dangerous objects may remain on the territory of the communities of Chuguiv district. They can be found in fields, roadsides, in forest belts, plantations, or in open areas. Therefore, it is extremely important to know what to do in the event of such a find and not put yourself and others in danger.
To this end, police officers will remind citizens of the basic rules of mine safety, how to behave correctly in the event of the discovery of explosive or suspicious objects, and urge citizens to follow simple but vital rules:
✅use only proven roads and routes, avoid traveling through unexplored areas;
✅ carefully inspect the area during field work. If agricultural machinery touches or exposes a suspicious object, immediately stop work, move to a safe distance, and notify emergency services;
✅under no circumstances should you touch, move, disassemble, or attempt to dispose of suspicious items yourself;
✅do not allow unauthorized persons to the location of the dangerous find and, if possible, mark the dangerous area without approaching the object itself;
✅remember that not only ammunition, but also fragments of missiles, drones, and other unknown metal objects can pose a danger.
If you discover a suspicious object, you must immediately call 101 or 102, move to a safe distance, and wait for the arrival of specialists.
Law enforcement officers of the Chuguiv region emphasize: attentiveness, responsibility, and strict adherence to mine safety rules help avoid tragic consequences and preserve the most valuable thing - life and health.
