We support parents, we protect children: on the results of the meeting of the Commission on Children's Rights under the Executive Committee of the Chuguiv City Council

On March 11, 2025, at the regular meeting of the Protection Commission, 21 issues of social and legal protection of children were considered, 20 of which were based on applications from citizens.

The agenda of the Commission meeting includes issues regarding the advisability of depriving parents of parental rights, granting status to children who have suffered as a result of hostilities and armed conflicts, as well as other issues of protecting children's housing and property rights.

The planned issue of the state of maintenance and upbringing of children in the families of guardians, custodians and the fulfillment of their duties in 2024 under martial law was considered. During 2024, 36 families of guardians/custodians lived in the territory of the Chuguiv urban territorial community, in which 49 orphans, children deprived of parental care, were raised.

State social benefits for orphans and children deprived of parental care were paid in a timely manner and in full during the reporting period through the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Chuguiv City Council. All guardians cooperate with doctors to preserve and improve the health of children. 100% children of the specified category were also covered by educational services. Families are under social support; 6 children who were subject to rehabilitation were rehabilitated in health camps of Ukraine.

The stay of children in the families of guardians of the city of Chuguev is in accordance with the interests of the children.

The Children's Service of the Executive Committee of the Chuguiv City Council announces that the next meeting of the commission will be held April 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Applications and documents for consideration by the commission are accepted until April 2, 2025 at the address: 19 Gvardiyska St. (Children's Service).
