The man posed as an employee of a company specializing in the manufacture of metal-plastic products. The 44-year-old defendant offered his services to potential clients. He then concluded fictitious contracts for the installation of goods and received an advance payment for further services in the amount of 4 to 6 thousand hryvnias. After receiving the money, the man disappeared and did not get in touch again.
Law enforcement officers documented the illegal actions of the perpetrator. Currently, the police have 10 facts of fraudulent actions. As a result of criminal activity, the perpetrator took possession of money totaling almost 50 thousand hryvnias.
Through the measures taken, the criminal investigation officers of the Chuguiv District Police Department established his location.
The attacker has already been notified of suspicion of committing 10 crimes under Part 2 of Article 190 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
