Born on January 10, 1998, lived in the city of Shchastya, in 2018 he received secondary specialized education after graduating from the Shchastya Professional Lyceum. After graduating, he worked as a waiter, and then in 2019 he was called up for military service. He served as part of the 203rd training aviation brigade as a service number of the anti-aircraft artillery unit of the 142nd company. Soon he signed a contract with this military unit. Thus, while serving under the contract, he lived in the city of Chuguiv, and later in the city of Kharkiv.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine, his military unit was redeployed to another settlement. He remained as part of a separate unit to perform military duty to defend the state in the city of Chuguiv.

Circumstances of death:
On 12/31/2023, while performing military duty, he died as a result of a missile attack on the airfield in the city of Chuguiv.
On January 2, 2024, the Chuguiv community conducted the final journey of the defender of Ukraine, Serhiy Lopukhov. The serviceman was buried in the city of Chuguiv on the Alley of Memory with military honors.
