We have good news for all Kochetok residents: in July, the branch of the Public Library, located in the village, moved to a new building at 44 Lytvynova Street.
For many years, the Kochetotsk branch library was located in an old, unequipped building that needed major renovation. There was no heating, the roof was leaking, and the two rooms did not accommodate the entire book collection. Understanding the need to preserve the institution as a cultural and educational center for villagers, the community leadership found an opportunity to place the branch library in a new renovated building. From now on, library readers will be greeted by adult and children's subscriptions, a large book hall that can be transformed for study, individual work, meetings or organizing various events, as well as a spacious exhibition hall.
According to the director of the Public Library, Olena Protsenko, in the future, it is planned to create a comfortable, mobile space for communication on the basis of the branch library, which the village residents will visit with pleasure, relaxing there comfortably and comfortably, where it will be interesting to spend time for both young and adult Kochetok residents.
