
Born on 01/23/1988 in the village of Chkalovskoe, where he studied at secondary school. During 2005-2010 he studied at the Veterinary Academy, the village of Lozovenki. After studying, he began working at the company "Veterinary Center" in the village of Chkalovskoe as a chief technologist. He has been fond of hunting since childhood.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, even when he was in the occupied territory, he did not stand aside from the fight against the invaders, carried out active actions to resist the enemy, but soon he was forced to illegally leave the territory of his native village and already on March 15, 2022, he volunteered to defend the Motherland as part of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. He served as a scout in the 3rd reconnaissance detachment of the 1st reconnaissance platoon of the reconnaissance company of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade.

Mother: Larisa Mykolayivna Kalinichenko, lives in the village of Chkalovskoe, Chuguiv district.
Wife: Hanna Sergiyevna Kalinichenko, lives in the village of Chkalovskoe, Chuguiv district.
Son: Makar Kalinichenko, born in 2017, lives in the village of Chkalovskoe, Chuguiv district.
Circumstances of death:
On May 5, 2022, as part of a combat group, he carried out a task to destroy the enemy, who had dug in in a landing near the settlement of Oleksandrivka, Kharkiv region, and to hold positions there until the approach of the main forces. During the group's departure from the settlement of Kutuzivka, Kharkiv region, the combat vehicle in which Dmytro was traveling was hit, and he suffered an explosive injury incompatible with life.
On May 8, 2022, he was buried on the Alley of Memory in the city of Chuguiv.

By Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 471/2022 of July 7, 2022, "for personal courage and selfless actions shown in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath," he was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree (posthumously).
