
August 5-7, 2024 for persons who did NOT receive cash assistance in the amount of UAH 1,500 from the UN World Food Program in April - July 2024 and did NOT undergo re-registration Registration for cash assistance will be held on July 25-27, 29-31, and August 1-2, 2024.
This means that heads of households (all family members do not need to come) will have to appear in person at the registration points according to schedule, which is listed below, with originals of all documents (passport, birth certificate (for children), tax identification number, extract from the place of registration, printed / written information regarding IBAN (bank account number) and telephone number, as well as documents confirming belonging to a vulnerable population group).
Documents of all household members must be presented by the head of household at the registration point.
In order to prevent crowding, please arrive at the time specified for the relevant vulnerable group and the letter that the surname of the head of household begins with. If a person arrives outside the time specified for their vulnerability category and letter, the registration of such person will be carried out only after the registration of all persons who arrive according to the established schedule!
Each registered person from the household will receive UAH 1,500 per month during August - November 2024. The transfer will be made to a trusted person - an adult member of the household (head of household). The maximum number of people per household who can receive cash assistance is 5 people.
Money transfers will be credited ONLY FOR VULNERABLE CATEGORIES and their household members.
The NGO "Network of 100 Percent of Life" in Kharkiv reports that from 06/01/2024, the UN World Food Program has updated vulnerable population groups, therefore, persons belonging to the following vulnerable population groups have the right to receive cash assistance:
- A household that includes a person with a disability;
- A household that includes a person with the status of a single parent;
- Low-income family;
- A household that includes a person who has lost their job;
- Household registered in the territorial center;
- Large family (3+ children);
- A household consisting of one elderly person (60+).
Please note that the above-mentioned vulnerable population groups are listed in order of priority. This means that, for example, the category "household with a person with a disability" has a higher priority than the category "household with a person with single parent status", and other categories accordingly. Given the limited amount of cash assistance intended for the Chuguiv community, registration of new beneficiaries will be carried out taking into account the priority of the category.. That is, households that include a person with a disability will be registered first, then households that include a person with the status of a single father/mother, and so on down the list.
Internally displaced persons are not eligible for cash assistance solely on the basis of their IDP status. ONLY IDPs who belong to one of the vulnerable groups listed above will be eligible for cash assistance from WFP UN.
To receive cash assistance from the UN World Food Program, you must present: originals such documents: (according to category):
- A household that includes a person with a disability. A household in which at least one household member has a disability status (groups 1,2,3 or a child with a disability).
- Documents confirming status: TIN, passport, birth certificate of a child (for children), TIN or passport of other household members and one of the documents confirming status: certificate of incapacity for work / MSEK certificate establishing a disability group / certificate with a mark of disability);
- A household that includes a person with the status of a single parent. Household, consisting of a person who has the status of a single parent, according to current legislation, and at least one of his/her children under the age of 18. This category includes:
– a single father/mother who has the status of a single father/mother from the date of the child's birth;
– widows/widowers with a child;
– one of the divorced parents who does not receive alimony from the other;
– guardians with a child (family with one guardian).
Documents confirming status: TIN, passport, birth certificate of the child (for children), TIN or passport of other household members and one of the documents confirming status: certificate of single parent status / certificate of death of one of the parents / certificate of divorce and certificate confirming the absence of alimony / document certifying guardianship / court decision declaring the other parent missing / court decision declaring the other parent deceased / court decision depriving parental rights.
- Low-income family. Household with the status of a low-income family according to current legislation.
Documents confirming status: TIN, passport, certificate of social assistance as a low-income family, TIN or passport of other family members.
- Household, which includes a person who has lost their job. A household in which at least one household member is unemployed or can provide a certificate of zero income. This category includes individuals who lost their job only AFTER 02/24/22.
Documents confirming status: TIN, passport, TIN or passport of other family members and one of the documents confirming status: certificate of unemployed status / certificate of being registered as unemployed at the employment center / work book with dates of employment and dismissal / certificate from the former employer about job loss / tax return with 0 income for the last 6 months.
- Household registered in the territorial center. Persons registered with the territorial center.
Documents confirming status: TIN, passport and certificate from the territorial social service center on the appointment of social support.
- Large family (3+ children). A household with at least three household members under the age of 18.
Documents confirming status: TIN, passport of the mother or father and one of the documents confirming status: certificate of status of a large family / birth certificate and/or passport of three or more children under the age of 18.
Documents confirming status: TIN of all members of the household, passports of all members of the household.
- A household consisting of one elderly person (60+). ЛAn elderly woman (60+ years old) who currently lives alone.
Documents confirming status: TIN, passport and one of the documents confirming status: certificate of persons registered in the residential premises/house / certificate (information sheet, act) of the actual residence of the person on their own / other documents confirming the actual residence of the person on their own.
For those who register according to the schedule, the UN World Food Program may transfer cash assistance in one of the following ways:
- Recommended: Direct transfer to your bank account using IBAN (IBAN stands for International Bank Account Number, which is mandatory for banks in Ukraine. For Ukraine, IBAN consists of 29 alphanumeric characters, including the country code, check digit, NBU identifier, and account number. IBAN has the following format, starting with UA:
UA XX XXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.);
- Only for people who do not have a bank account or IBAN: Transfer via Western Union - it is mandatory to provide a phone number.
- In exceptional cases, when a person cannot receive a bank transfer (does not have a bank account) or withdraw cash from WU agents (for example, bedridden people), such persons will be registered to receive cash assistance via delivery by Ukrposhta. It is necessary to indicate - postal code, full residential address, passport number. Please note that cash delivery via Ukrposhta may take longer than other transfers (first payment up to 30 days from the last date of registration).
Please note that in the event of continuation of payments, re-registration of persons eligible for cash assistance will take place every 4 months. This means that all those who will receive cash assistance will have to come to the registration points every 4 months with all documents confirming their identity and vulnerability category. The date and time of re-verification will be announced later.

Have original documents with you that confirm your identity and belonging to a vulnerable population group, information about your bank account number (IBAN) and phone number (preferably in printed form).
