Halyna Minaeva: “An important stage of our work is the participation of the Chuhuiv community in the program “Side by Side: United Communities”

On Unity Day, the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Halyna Minaeva, together with over 100 community heads, representatives of regional military administrations, and international organizations, participated in the forum “Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities”.

This is a national project created to unite partner communities in the rear with communities located on the front line or near the borders. Our community is also a participant in it, and its partners are the Fastiv community of the Kyiv region and Ilyinetska Vinnytsia.

The Chuguiv community is a front-line community, which means it bears the full burden of being located just a few dozen kilometers from the epicenter of hostilities. However, the community lives, works, and even develops in these difficult times, improving the quality of services provided to the population.

Oleg Synegubov noted the joint work of the Chuguiv team with Czech partners on decentralizing the heating system by installing cogeneration units. There are already tangible results in other areas that are very important during the war, such as arranging shelters, strengthening the material and technical base of healthcare institutions, and participating in international technical assistance projects.

And now a very important stage of work is the participation of the Chuhuiv community in the program “Side by Side: United Communities”. “No matter where we live in Ukraine, we know that we can count on each other. Especially today, during this difficult war, when the importance of effective timely assistance is sometimes equal to life. When home communities help frontline cities and villages overcome the consequences of the war,” Halyna Minaeva noted on her page on the social network.

During a recent visit to Chuguev by the mayors of the program's participating cities, the partners outlined areas of future cooperation and got acquainted with the facilities in the development of which the community is counting on the help of friends from the Fastov and Illinets communities.

“And despite the fact that the Chuhuiv community is on the front lines, I am confident that cooperation in the “Side by Side: United Communities” program will be useful not only to us, but also to our new friends. After all, the people of Chuhuiv always know how to respond with kindness to those who help them in difficult times!” emphasized the head of the community.
