The Ukrainian Veterans Fund of the Ministry of Veterans has launched a new grant program for veterans. Winners can receive funding to start or develop their business in the amount of 500,000 to 1,500,000 hryvnias. The competition is implemented in partnership with Kernel, one of the largest Ukrainian industrial companies.
Applications are accepted from January 27, 2026. «Worth it: 4 Years of Support» is the 16th grant program of the Ukrainian Veterans Fund in four years of its operation. The goal of the competition is to strengthen the economic independence of Defenders returning to civilian life.
The following can apply for the competitive selection:
- veterans who are registered as individual entrepreneurs (FOP) or who carry out independent professional activities within the meaning given in Tax Code of Ukraine, and who are registered for tax purposes as self-employed persons;
- legal entities (except public and charitable organizations), 100 % of which are veterans. Important: the company must be registered no later than one year before submitting the application.
The amount of financial support ranges from UAH 500,000 to UAH 1,500,000. The amount depends on the budget of a specific project.
Important: The program is open to businesses of all types, except those operating or planning to operate in the food production, processing, storage, logistics, and catering sectors. A separate competition is planned for them this year.
The competitive selection process consists of several stages, namely:
- checking the completeness of documents and compliance with requirements;
- evaluation of project applications by independent experts;
- public presentation of business ideas.
Deadline for project submissions: 6:00 PM, February 17, 2026.
The results will be announced on April 24, 2026.
