The Chuhuiv community is in mourning again today, as it witnessed the final journey of the fallen Hero, Defender of Ukraine Dmytro Yeremenko.
The young soldier, born in 2001, served under contract since October 2020. The defender's life ended in the Donetsk region, in the Pokrovsky district, on April 17, 2025. Senior rifleman-operator of the Marine Corps, senior sailor Dmytro Yeremenko died defending the independence and freedom of Ukraine.
The Hero was buried on April 23, 2025, on the Alley of Memory in Chuhuiv.
