On July 9, 2024, employees of the Chuguiv Primary Health Care Center attended a training course on the safe handling of explosives, which was conducted for them by specialists from Handicap International. Handicap International is an independent non-governmental organization whose goal is to help people with disabilities and socially vulnerable groups in situations of war, conflict, and natural disasters.

The history of this organization, established in 1982 to provide assistance in refugee camps in Cambodia and Thailand, began with opposing the production, storage and use of all cluster munitions. Therefore, one of the main areas of its activity is educational work on protecting people's lives from explosive objects.

Today, specialists from the Chuguiv Central Primary Health Center received information about the main types of ammunition that civilians in Ukraine may currently encounter, and the rules of conduct when detecting them.
