

Born on January 21, 1992 in the village of Urozhayne, Donetsk region. In the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2009. In 2014, he graduated from the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University with honors. He served in the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko, and was a participant in hostilities in eastern Ukraine.

Circumstances of death:
Despite his health problems, the officer carried out combat missions. On March 12, 2022, he died during the defense of Kharkiv. The group under his leadership came across an enemy ambush while performing a combat mission. Oleg Adamovskyi covered the departure of his comrades until the last moment... at the cost of his life. Here is what Oleg's wife says: "The soldiers had an important combat mission, the successful completion of which would have stopped the enemy's advance. The day before, the area where this was to take place was subjected to another airstrike, my husband miraculously remained alive. This was his third attempt to complete the task. Oleg's comrades even began to dissuade him - they said, look, this is extremely dangerous. However, he acted like a Hero, declaring that it was necessary to go to the end and do everything so that the army of the Russian Federation did not reach Kharkiv.".

The military man was only 30 years old. He dedicated 13 of them to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Oleg was buried on March 15, 2022 in the village of Velyka Novosilka in his native Donetsk region. A year later (03/19/2023), he was reburied on the Alley of Glory at the 18th cemetery in Kharkiv. Hanna Adamovskaya, the widow of the Hero of Ukraine, said during the reburial ceremony: "He is at home. He is at home. I am glad that we did this great work. Because it was very difficult. Due to the fact that he was buried in the Donetsk region. 3 km from his occupied village. It was very difficult work. We did it. He is at home.".


Awarded state awards, including the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 3rd degree (March 14, 2022 posthumously) - "for personal courage while performing combat missions, selfless actions shown in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and loyalty to the military oath.".
By Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 201/2022 of April 2, 2022, he was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine "for personal courage and heroism shown in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath.".
