Every year, on the occasion of the birthday of our great countryman Ilya Repin, various festive events are held in his hometown. This year, the Chuguiv community celebrates the 180th anniversary of the artist's birth under the slogan: "I.Yu. Repin - the genetic code of Chuguiv." Therefore, the wards of the Territorial Center of the Chuguiv City Council could not stay away from such an event.
The students of the creative development studios of the day-stay department in the format of a group meeting of the University of the Third Age gathered at the end of the week for a festive tea party and a presentation of their works dedicated to the master's birthday.
The meeting of creative personalities of the Territorial Center took place in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The assembly hall enchanted the eyes of those present with bright crafts of wards and specialists from all areas of the creative abilities development office.
Then, those present were captivated by a colorful, soulful journey into the world of the artist's work, which was conducted in a poetic style by the invited guest, a knowledgeable art critic, a wonderful storyteller, Alla Yevgeniyevna Sazonova, who, by the way, is a ward of the Tercenter. The story of one portrait, which was about the little-known work of Ilya Efimovich "The Nun" from 1878, was especially impressive.
The informed and satisfied attendees, having thanked the specialist, continued to discuss the work of the great son of the Chuguiv region for a long time over a festive tea party.
