The Home Social Assistance Department of the Territorial Center for Social Services (Provision of Social Services) of the Chuguiv City Council takes care of the most vulnerable segments of the population, namely the elderly and people with disabilities.
In this difficult time, the most demanded social services are home care and palliative home care. Social workers of the Territorial Center provide more than 65 different activities to senior citizens and people with disabilities, because the daily solution of social issues is of great importance for each of them. Employees support those in need in social and household terms: they will purchase and deliver medicines or food, feed the bedridden, do wet cleaning in the premises, pay for utilities, provide psychological support, provide information on social protection of the population, and more.
Also, every day, employees of the home social assistance department use the Territorial Center's vehicles to deliver hot meals to their wards. This important assistance has been organized and implemented for the second year in a row on the initiative of the volunteer organization "To Ukraine with Love".
