Currently, on the instructions of the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, inspections are continuing regarding the construction of fortifications and the supply of building materials under contracts concluded with contractors.

The working group meeting was chaired by the deputy heads of the Kharkiv OVA, Mykhailo Kharnam and Yevhen Ivanov, with the participation of law enforcement officers, representatives of specialized departments and structural units, and heads of forestry departments.

During 2023 and 2024, the Kharkiv OVA concluded 201 contracts for the supply of coniferous timber for the construction of fortifications. The contracts concluded last year have been fully implemented.

«"Currently, contracting organizations are fulfilling orders under 154 contracts that were concluded this year. The percentage of work completed is 70%. Both contracting organizations and forestry organizations are fulfilling their obligations under the contracts, qualitatively and on time," said Serhiy Khrystoyev, head of the logistics department of the Department of Housing and Communal Services and Fuel and Energy Complex of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

At the same time, control over the quality of wood and timber supplied for the construction of defense structures continues.

«"According to the contracts, payment for the delivered wood is made two weeks after the work has been completed. The main condition is that the timber is delivered on time, in full, and its quality meets the request," said Mykhailo Kharnam.

Timber supplies are carried out by contractors and forestry departments of the Kharkiv region and other regions of the country.

«Requests were sent regarding the quantity and quality of wood with the condition of delivery to the construction site,» explained Serhiy Khrystoyev.
