Volodymyr Mykolayovych IVANCHENKO

Born on 03.03.1965 in Chuguiev. During 1972-1980 he studied at secondary school No. 7, and then 2 years at secondary school No. 5. After graduating from school, in 1982 he entered the Poltava Technical School at the refrigeration unit department, but did not graduate, as he was called up for military service.

Народився 03.03.1965 році в Чугуєві. Протягом 1972-1980 років навчався в загальноосвітній школі №7, а потім 2 роки в загальноосвітній школі №5. Після закінчення школи, в 1982 році вступив в Полтавський технікум на відділення холодильні установки, але не закінчив, оскільки був призваний на строкову службу до армії.

He served his military service in military unit 20623 (Hungary) as a cook. After being discharged from the army, he worked at the Eskharivskaya GRES as a forwarder and, in parallel with his work, completed welder courses, and then worked by profession at various enterprises in the city of Kharkiv and the region. He had a specialty as an electric and gas welder.

On May 14, 2021, through the Chuhuiv RTCC and the Joint Venture, he signed a contract with the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa. He served as an assistant rifleman-grenade launcher of the mechanized detachment of the mechanized platoon of the mechanized company of the mechanized battalion of the military unit A0693 (54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa)

Marital status:

Divorced. Before being drafted into contract service, he lived in the city of Chuguev with his mother.

Mother: Ivanchenko Nadiya Danilovna, lives in the city of Chuguiv.

Brother: Ivanchenko Serhiy Nikolaevich, lives in the city of Chuguiv.

Son: Ivanchenko Andriy Volodymyrovych, lives outside Ukraine.

Circumstances of death:

On February 27, 2024, during hostilities near the settlement of Synkivka, Kupyansky district, he received a shrapnel wound, and on March 1, 2024, he died at the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Northern District in the city of Kharkiv.

Notification of the mother's death was sent on 08.03.2024 No. 3/482.

The fallen soldier was buried on March 13, 2024, at the Alley of Memory of Fallen Soldiers with military honors in the city of Chuguiv.

Volodymyr Ivanchenko was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, 3rd degree.
