
Born on December 24, 1981. Lived in the village of Kochetok, Chuguiv district.
Initially, Serhiy served in the 92nd separate mechanized brigade, participated in the ATO, then after the end of his contract, he resigned, went to Poland and got a job at a factory there, working there for several years.

When the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine began, Serhiy returned from abroad and on March 4, 2022, through the Chuguev RTCC and SP, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the defenders of the Motherland, like a true man and patriot.

He served as a senior scout of the 2nd reconnaissance unit of the reconnaissance platoon of the 125th separate Territorial Defense Battalion of the 113th separate Territorial Defense Brigade. As part of the battalion, he participated in the defense of the city of Kharkiv and the liberation of the Chuguiv district, participated in the Slobozhansk counteroffensive and reached the border.

Family composition:
Parents are dead. No brothers or sisters. Unmarried.
Circumstances of death:
On December 19, 2022, at about 12 noon, during artillery fire from a tank, he received a wound incompatible with life and died near the settlement of Ploshchanka, Luhansk region.
On December 22, 2022, in the village of Kochetok, in the assembly hall of the Chuguevo-Babchansky Forestry Vocational College, a farewell ceremony for Serhiy Politsynsky was held. He was buried in the local cemetery in the village of Kochetok.

By Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 262/2023 of May 5, 2023, for personal courage and selfless actions shown in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, he was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree (posthumously).
