
Born on October 24, 1980 in Chuguiv. In 1998, he graduated from Chuguiv comprehensive school, and in 2004, from Chuguiv district evening comprehensive school of I-III levels, having received secondary specialized education. During 2000-2001, he served in military unit A3189, with a place of deployment in the city of Odesa. He was discharged with the rank of junior sergeant.

After being discharged from military service, he worked as a driver. On March 28, 2023, he was mobilized by the Chuguiv CCC and SP. He served as a senior flamethrower of the flamethrower battalion of the flamethrower company of the 704th separate radiation, chemical, and biological protection regiment (vch A0807). Eduard's relatives and acquaintances describe him as a friendly, kind person.

Wife: Krylova Larisa Valeriyevna, lives in the city of Chuguev.
Son: Maleev Yaroslav Eduardovich, born in 2005, lives in the village of Kochetok.
Circumstances of death:
On October 20, 2023, he was on a mission as part of a separate group. While moving near the settlement of Klishchiivka, Bakhmut district, he hit a mine. As a result of the explosion, he received a blast injury that was incompatible with life.
Buried on 11/03/2023 in the city of Chuguev on the Alley of Memory.

According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 848/2023 "On Awarding State Awards of Ukraine" "for personal courage shown in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless performance of military duty" he was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree.
