JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" is strengthening control over ticketless passengers in suburban services and calls on passengers to pay their fares honestly. It is on the basis of statistics on purchased tickets that the Suburban Passenger Company branch of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" analyzes passenger traffic, determines the required number of cars in suburban trains, the expediency of assigning individual flights and maintaining stops on routes. However, ticketless passengers are not taken into account in transportation statistics, which distorts the real picture of demand and complicates work planning. Recently, cases of obstruction of train movement by passengers, in particular those who did not have tickets, have also been recorded. Such actions pose a threat to traffic safety and can lead to serious consequences.
Ukrzaliznytsia calls on passengers to be responsible when using railway transport, to issue travel documents in a timely manner, and not to interfere with the work of the railway, which provides transportation for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians every day.
