Born on 07.11.1986 in Kharkiv. In 2003, he graduated from Kharkiv Secondary School of I-III Degrees No. 101. After graduating from school, he worked as a handyman in the construction industry. Since 2011, he has lived in the city of Chuguiv. On 16.01.2026, he was called up for military service during mobilization by the Chuguiv CCC and SP. He served in the 475th separate assault regiment "CODE 9.2" as a driver-electrician of the 3rd detachment of strike unmanned aviation complexes of the 2nd platoon of strike unmanned aviation complexes of the 1st company of strike unmanned aviation complexes of the battalion of unmanned systems.
Circumstances of death:
On 15.05.2026, Ruslan Gutsal, while performing his military service assignment, was traveling in a car with his brother and near the settlement of Dublyanka, Krasnokutsk settlement community, Bogodukhiv district, Kharkiv region, got into a traffic accident and received serious injuries. During his transportation to a medical facility, he died in an ambulance.
On May 22, 2026, the defender was buried with full military honors in the city of Chuguiv at the Preobrazhensky Cemetery, where his father and sister rest.
The deceased defender is survived by his mother, brother, and niece. Remembering her son, Iryna Mykolayivna says: "Ruslan was cheerful and loved life very much. For me, he was a loving son, and for my niece, he treated her like a sister, whom he lost early.".
