Not everyone is given the opportunity to live to a respectable age. But it is even more rare to go through such a long life journey with dignity, preserving love for people, the warmth of the family and the wisdom of the heart. Such a person is the resident of the village of Kam'yana Yaruga - Zavalyaeva Feodosia Khomivna, who celebrated her 105th birthday on May 9.
Feodosia Khomivna was born in Kamyanya Yaruz and devoted her whole life to work and family. In her youth she worked at an aircraft repair plant in Chuguiev. After the birth of her first daughter, who is now 83 years old, she devoted herself to housekeeping. And rural work is a daily hard work: vegetable gardens, caring for livestock, taking care of the family.
Together with her husband, they raised three children in love and harmony – two daughters and a son, with whom Feodosia Khomivna currently lives. Today, she is a happy grandmother of five grandchildren and a great-grandmother of four great-grandchildren.
The birthday girl loved cooking the most. Her dumplings and borscht were the real pride of the family, and five years ago she would happily treat her family to her dishes. Now, her greatest joy comes from rest, communication, and the warmth of loved ones.
On her 105th birthday, on behalf of all her fellow countrymen, Deputy Mayor - Head of the Executive Committee Lyudmila Makarenko and the head of Kamyana Yaruga Olga Mikhailova wished Feodosia Khomivna good health, peace of mind, family comfort, love and care of her relatives.
